Bauchi State Government has been requested to support Corps Members on digital technology to enable them contribute to the advancement of the state.
Mr David Olasunkanki Olalekan, the Executive Director of a Non Governmental Organization based in Abuja,”Pofis Global Resources Limited” made the request while addressing the Corps members at Bauchi NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp Wailo on Saturday.
Mr David Olalekan said supporting Corps members on ICT would enable them develop the state especially by improving the state economy and attracting investors.
According to him, Bauchi state has huge potentials which if harnessed properly will assist them to become self reliant and useful members of the society.
The Executive Director enjoined them to key into the empowerment programmes initiated by the present administration so as to reduce over dependence on monthly allowances.
He observed that, for the corps members to succeed, there is need for them to make good use of their knowledge by coming up with innovative ideas and remain focused.
Mr David Olalekan said the organization’s Energy Academy was set up to assist towards generating electricity through the use of waste.
